Black Belts are the Six Sigma practitioners in the organization. Black Belts drive business results through the application of Six Sigma tools on multiple projects. The Black Belt training consists of four weeks of formal training and a minimum of 12 weeks of project work during which the tools are applied. A personal mentor will assist all candidates throughout the project phase to maximize learning and business results.
Upon completion of the training Black Belt candidates will:
- Have driven business results through the application of six sigma tools on projects
- Understand the six sigma methodology
- Be able to apply statistical methods in a disciplined approach to capture business opportunities
- Developed critical thinking skills to aid them to work at the highest level of efficiency in the future

Our program makes extensive use of hands-on exercises, usually utilizing the projects brought to class. Some projects will be advanced significantly during the training week as teams will be applying the newly learned techniques on the projects. Candidates will leave each training week with a concise action plan to maximize project.
